A platform for people interested in military service to understand their chances at earning a commission, with proprietary algorithms and personalized recommendations
Problem
Students don't have insights into the military commissioning process - information is scattered across forums, official sites, and word of mouth. Honest feedback is hard to come by, and it is easy to second-guess yourself. We decided to take our experience and create a tool that consolidates the process, highlights what really matters, and provides feedback students and advisors can trust.
Solution
MissionBLUF is a focused web app that turns structured application inputs into a BLUF-style Readiness Dashboard, refreshed on demand. Each student's application is scored using a proprietary set of ML algorithms to determine their strengths and weaknesses in the context of applying to Military Service Academies and Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship programs.
